GUIDING BELIEF
"The work it takes to act on what matters is up to each of us as individuals. But as we do the work on ourselves, we also have to bring it into the world. My individual possibility also needs to be part of a collective possibility."

SINCERELY,
You know the "Why?" kid? The kid who asks...."Why is fire red?" "Why can't I wear jeans to church?"; "Why isn't there life on the moon?". I was that kid. I still am that kid. But as I got older I struggled to make sense of the world. With so much beauty on one hand and so much suffering on the other my questions became longings. I longed for real connection. Real conversations. I wanted my life to have meaning and purpose, and I think we all do. We all deserve and long for a more loving, just, and beautiful world: a world where our human gifts go toward the benefit of all, and our day to day activities contribute to the healing of our Earth and the well-being of all people. I believe that our individual potential and collective possibility are inseparable and that we must be willing to transform ourselves in order to realise the better world we know is possible.
As a poet, yogi, artist, entrepreneur and educator I'm in the business of applying my time, experience and talents for greater social good. I believe that change is an inside game, so I focus on working with people and within organisations from the ground up in order to build both individual and collective capacity for meaningful and lasting change. I facilitate positive change in three key realms of expertise - yoga, poetry, and people.

"Tiffany’s consistent willingness to build community, and to hold space is one worthy of mention. Over the past 10-15 years, there are numerous examples of where community members have looked to Tiffany’s expertise and talents, as a way of showcasing nuance and brilliance. Her ability to facilitate community spaces, is also remarkable."

"Perhaps I am the face of one of your fears. Because I am a woman, because I am Black, because I am a lesbian. Because I am myself - a Black, woman, warrior, poet - doing my work. Come to ask you, are you doing yours? " - Audre Lorde
