In person or online workshops for teens and young adults. Over the past 15 years I have led poetry and spoken word classes and/or workshops at The Berkeley Institute, Cedarbridge Academy, the Chewstick Foundation Retreats, Bermuda College, and Whitney Institute. I'd be happy to create 'Poetry & Spoken Word' workshops tailored to your specific goals for your class, camp or programme. Each classes and workshop will help all participants develop their writing and performance skills as they learn how to write and perform from their own lived experience. Workshops will offer a toolkit of literary devices and rhetorical techniques that will enhance their self expression, and written/spoken word. Whether you're looking for a one-off class or tailored workshop series I can help.

PRAISE
"She not only helped them to understand the power of literary devices but the power of their own truths. Tiffany always encouraged each student to move beyond the clever rhyme or phrase into something real and vulnerable, challenging them to look and dig deeper within themselves."
- Tonisha Key Holmes B.A., M.Ed | English Language Arts Teacher |
"Poetry is not a luxury. It is a vital necessity. It forms the quality of light by which we predicate our hopes and dreams towards survival and change" - Audre Lorde

BBC World Service Documentary
In 2018 I was fortunate to work with the BBC World Service and Anishka Sharma from Whistledown Productions to explore the toll the debate for Marriage Equality has taken on our island, which remains divided on the issue. We investigated how this law was overturned so quickly by focusing on the experiences of same-sex couples. Click the image below to listen in.

In May 2017, Bermudian lawyer Mark Pettingill and his client Winston Godwin won a case in the Bermuda Supreme Court for marriage equality for all people in the LGBTQ+ community. However, less than a year later – a new government introduced the Domestic Partnership Act - taking away the rights of gay couples to marry, and given them instead the option of civil partnerships. We met with Winston Godwin who initially won the Supreme Court case with his husband Greg De Roche. We also met lawyer Mark Pettingill who fought their case and was preparing another legal fight against the Bermudian government, with his client Roderick Ferguson. Others interviewed include, Linda Bogle Meinzer, Joe Gibbons and Christopher Vee, Adrian Hartnett-Beasley, and Andrew Simons.
